Not every list is the same. Some weeks you’re working a wide-open market with thousands of contacts to burn through. Other weeks you’ve fought for a short list of exactly the right accounts — and every name on it counts.
Until now, OptimalDial ran every list through the same answer intent analysis — the work of identifying which contacts are most likely to actually pick up. Today that changes. We’re introducing MAX Validation: a new way to choose how thoroughly we analyze the answer intent in each list you upload, so you can match the depth to what’s actually at stake.
Two tiers, one decision
You pick your tier right when you upload — or through the API. Keep using Standard for speed and volume, or choose MAX to surface more of the people most likely to pick up.
| Standard | MAX | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Large lists with plenty of contacts to work through | Smaller, harder-won lists where you want the most from every contact |
| Projected likely answers* | ~12–18% of your list | ~22–25% of your list |
| Average connect rate* | ~25–30% | ~20–25% |
| Turnaround | 1–2 business days | 2–4 business days |
| Price | 1 credit / contact | 1.5 credits / contact |
* Projected estimates. Actual results vary by list and market.
Why choose MAX
MAX studies answering behavior across more times of day and more days of the week. Because it’s looking at a fuller picture of when each person actually picks up, it flags close to double the share of your list as likely answerers.
It casts a wider net. That broader pool averages a slightly lower connect rate — but there are far more answerable contacts in it to call, so you typically come away with more total conversations from the same list.
The math is the part that surprises people. Here’s how it plays out on a 1,000-contact list, using the midpoints of our projected ranges:
- Standard flags ~15% as likely answerers (~150 contacts) at a ~27.5% connect rate → ~41 conversations
- MAX flags ~23.5% as likely answerers (~235 contacts) at a ~22.5% connect rate → ~53 conversations
A lower connect rate, more conversations. When your addressable market is small, that’s the difference between stretching a limited list and getting the most out of it.
Why stick with Standard
MAX isn’t always the right call — and that’s the point of giving you the choice.
When you have a large market and contacts to spare, Standard gets you validated and dialing fastest, at the lowest cost per contact. There’s no reason to pay for a wider net when you already have more names than your reps can work.
Transparent pricing — no surprises
MAX is 1.5 credits per valid contact, billed in whole credits. You always see the exact credit cost and your remaining balance before you confirm. Nothing is charged until you submit.
How to use it
In the app: upload and review your list as usual, then pick Standard or MAX on the new selection step and submit.
Via the API: add validation_tier: "max" when you create an upload. Leave
it off and you get Standard, exactly as before.
{
"validation_tier": "max"
}
Every upload in your dashboard is now labeled with the tier you chose, so you always know which one you ran. Existing and in-flight uploads are unaffected.
